my new favorite bird-pheasants

Thursday, January 14, 2010

For the last few days I have been troubled with finding a way to present the letter 'i' in another shape/form/object. I sketched out several ideas n finally landed with one- a pheasant kept in a globe cage which has an enormous long tail and beautiful feather all over.

A graceful animal.

Then I came up with this.

Still got to add on the rest of the details like color and texture. Hopefully I will get it done before sunset tomorrow. fingers x.

Not quite there yet

The idea was to use some shapes and objects to spell out my name. And most importantly, it tells people what I do best upfront.

wetter than wet

Sunday, November 29, 2009

The weather in London has been @$^*^$%^(%$@^*... I'm sure you'll all agree with me.
When I got home earlier I was literally wetter than a fish, I thought I felt my face melted, turns out it was just ALL the makeup I put on, I looked like a purple panda.

My favorite subject- weakness, hense, DEER (ICONIC)!

They are everywhere in my work, drew them, painted them, even animated them.

Yum.

More can be found at www.nizhang.com under DEER section
